Course Progress

Each term Hays International College will review your progress and, as a general rule, Hays International College will be required to report your progress to DIAC, if you fail competencies that total more than two of the total number in which you are enrolled during a term; or fail an assessment for the second time. Should this occur, you will be required to attend DIAC to discuss your academic progress

The Director of Student Welfare will meet with the student to counsel and to advise if their performance in the course is not satisfactory. Students will receive a warning letter from Hays International College if they fail more than 50% of units in two consecutive semesters. If at the end of the review Hays International College is not satisfied with academic progress of a student the student will be reported to DIAC which may result in a breach of visa conditions.
