Hays International College offers Certificate III & Certificate IV in Aged Care Work and a Diploma of Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure), to students wishing to gain entry into the Aged Care industry.

Aged Care is presently one of the fastest growing industries in Australia, having an extremely high job placement prospect for graduates. After completing these courses, graduates can expect to gain employment in an aged care facility or as an ‘in home carer’.

The Diploma course is also a fantastic pathway to other health care professions such as nursing and youth work. You can enrol at this level if you have completed the pre–requisites required.

Aged Care is a growth industry focused on meeting the needs of an increasingly aged population. Certificate III in Aged Care Work is an entry level qualification which provides grounding for continued study up to a diploma level. Aged Care workers are employed in a variety of aged care or disability settings including nursing homes, hostels, supported residential services, day care centres and in the client’s home.
